pantone colour trend board

When i discovered this pantone colours trend mood board i was instantly inspired by the use of flowers within the images because i like the colours of them and caught my eye straight away. This is effective as it shows that this trend mood board is done in a professional way so that the audience can enjoy it.  The style of this trend mood board is to portray pantone home & interior 2014. It is based to show the different ways pantone colouring can be seen and shown.  The theme of this trend mood board is very admiring because it also has a colour scheme going down the left hand side of the board to show which colours they board is trying to display. I admire the flowers that are consistent throughout the mood board which creates a summer/spring feel to the pantone trend board. The layout of this board is effective as it dies have its one colour scheme on the left but it also has clear images of what its theme is and none of the images are overlapping.

This is a purple trend mood board . This is an inspiring piece of work as it has many different images that relate to the purple trend mood boards theme. This is effective as it creates wonder in the picture as to how it has many different images within one. Having the model in the trend board makes the image creative and stand out. The layout of this trend board is simple but effective as it still draws attention to the audience and you can clearly see each of the images in the display. The colours in this trend mood board are mainly the same but there is some light pinks in it to but they still relate to the theme of the mood board. i  admire the way the that there is different types of images going on in this trend mood board. The use of having foods and flowers helps make the trend mood board more effective in a way that makes it more fun to look at whereas having just square blocks of colour placed together would be dull. 

Background

This digital textile fashion illustration is eye catching because of the use of the background and accessories that are placed within the illustration. The use of using these images within the illustration make it come to life more as it gives a feeling they are off for a jounery or escaping from everything and becoming something to gain money for herself . Having a small background helps the garment and figure stand out and doesn't over take the garment. The garment in this illustration is very simple and doesn't really stand out as its not really much of a garment as this illustration is wanting to tell a story more than focus of the garment.  If i was the change something about this design i would take the background and feather it as it would make it have a better effect instead of being a square block. This doesn't have a  relation to me because i won't be using dull browns and black use of colours but i could take on the story behind the image into my work and try help create a story.
