Editorial 2

This particular editorial stood out to me because of the bold title as well as the pattern beneath and above it which helps the title stand out more from the background. The writing on this is very simple and doesn't take up a lot of space within this editorial as this is an advantage because more people will want to read less and focus on the imagery rather than having to read a lot about it. Something that mainly stands out to me within this editorial is the colour scheme as they have used a shiny brown door way as they main background and then the models outfits reflects of the shiny brown colouring which is very effective for this piece. From this piece I would take on into my work would be the use of the big lettering for the title as it stands out and does work very well with the editorial.

Editoral 1

This editorial is very basic and simple. It also has very light white backgrounds which help the model and her garment stand out more from the background. The main reason I was drawn into this editorial was because of the writing font and the amount that has been used to describe the garments as it is very small and simple and gets straight to the point so that there isn't a lot to bore the reader. I am also inspired by the use different clothing on the models as well as them in different stances which helps the pages fit together better as one. The photography for this editorial is mainly based on the model and capturing a plain white background.

This digital fashion illustration by Michael Ostermann uses a range of different technique's within this piece of work. Having used long brush strokes on the shoulders creates a mountain effect s if she has mountains on her shoulders and trees. The colour scheme of this illustrations is dark purples and whites which got together really well and don't over take each other. The circles that are across the top of her head adds more technique to the image. The colour combination work well together as they compliment each other.

This digital fashion piece is effective because it uses different techniques within it to create the effects of the garment. Having the pieces broken up on the dress make it look more like a puzzle dress as thought the pieces are being put together. The pieces covering her mouth portrays that she is trying to hide something from people which creates confusion to the audience as to what she could be hiding. The legs and arms are shaded in with pencil which make the stand out from the dress because the dress is all colourful where as the legs and arms are dull. 

FALL WINTER 2016/17 FASHION TRENDS AND COLORS

This is a soft power colour trend board for the years 2016/2017. This board is very appealing to the audiences eye as it has a lot going on within the board as well as making a point with the images. Having all these different images in one creates more of an idea for he audience on the different items and clothing they can use to suit and stick to this colour theme. Over all I think this is a very effective trend board because of it use of the colour theme bar running through the board which is a different way to present it compared to other boards.

I am admired by this 2016 colour trend board as it gives an idea of the patterns, colours and materials that will be explored in the future trends. This colour trend board creates a lot of different colours and patterns, as the clothing on the model are pinks and yellows where as the pattern in the top right are dark purple and blues which shows contrast within the mood board. It shows that in 2016 everything will be an 'explosion' of bright colours put together. Having the model in the middle does capture the audiences attention first because of how forward she is from the background. The trend board has a colour scheme running along the top of the page which is an advantage because it gives an overall image of the future colours.

This is a colour trend board for fall/winter 14/15. This colour board is mainly focusing on the women audience as it does say on the title 'ladies fall/winter 14/15". The effect this has on the audience is that it stands out and grabs the eye of the reader because of the different colours that are used. It is creative the way that the colours have been like in with a fashion garment that can also be worn with the fall and winter seasons. Each colour has the name of it such as 'cranberry' which goes into more depth and idea of what the colour would look like in public. The images that are showing the garments are from a fashion catwalk as you can tell by the stances of the models. Over all i think this is an spiring piece of work because it shows a wide range of different colours that can be explored within these two seasons.
